UPDATE 17-10-25

What a week! Well done to all of the Year 6 children on the trip who have tried adventurous activities, learned to organise themselves, eaten new foods, stayed away from home for a significant time and most importantly, had tonnes of fun!

A huge thank you to the SDPA staff accompanying the children and looking after them, and for capturing such great photos of the week. We hope you have lots of happy memories of this, the Class of 2026's Grenville Residential!

UPDATE 16-10-25

It has been a great few days of back-to-back activities, continuing to enjoy Caves, Waves and climbing. The children are representing Stoke Damerel with pride and showing great support for each other as they challenge themselves to the activities. We are all looking forward to seeing you when we get back tomorrow!

UPDATE 15-10-25

We have a very special birthday today, so we got lots of singing practice! The lovely team at Grenville House even made a lovely cake for Miss Spiller, after she conquered the Leap of Faith! We had another great day today with lots of seal spotting.

UPDATE 14-10-25

Hello All!

We have completed our first full day after our arrival yesterday. We have had lovely activities so far, children having had a go at Orienteering, Coasteering, Canoeing, High Ropes, Abseiling and Caving. We have seen seals, swans and dolphins nearby to us too! Tonight, we went for a nighttime walk around the harbour and had a games night.
